Town of Tradition earns recognition for landscape design Award-Winning Town of Tradition Leads the Way in Landscape Architecture Core Communities, developer of the Town of Tradition, received an Award of Excellence for its 2006 Residential Landscape and Site Design Guidelines for Tradition at this year’s Florida chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (FLASLA) Annual Conference and Expo, which took place July 7, 2006. The award is the highest recognition possible in the Research and Communication category, which recognizes the investigation and communication of landscape architecture that contributed to the field’s expanding body of knowledge.
Core Communities was selected from more than 90 other entries from across the state. “We are honored to be recognized for our work,” says John Gallagher of Core Communities who managed the guideline development and entry submittal. “This recognition reflects the success of the entire project team to craft an exceptional document that will promote design integrity and sustainability at Tradition for years to come.”
